Mirroring Kuwait’s Iconic Liberation Tower

Heading down home during my lunch break, stuck in some traffic and there you have the Iconic Kuwait Liberation Tower, creating a mirror image on the Ooredoo Kuwait building facade. Should say nature and architecture has their own ways.

The Liberation Tower is the second tallest structure in Kuwait. Construction of the tower commenced before the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait on August 2, 1990. It was meant to be called The Kuwait Telecommunications Tower. The Liberation Tower has been constructed using ceramic tiles from the base all the way up to the highest level which is 308m above the ground. And not forgetting, it is open for public visit only on the Liberation Day of Kuwait i.e: 26th February which I definitely made sure of visiting 🙂
