Food Buzz @ Kipco Tower
Exploring takes a totally different turn when it comes to food. With the news of Nomad(Food Truck) coming to Kipco Tower in Sharq Area, I was over-thrilled and the DOH, the donut sweet-crazy self 🙂 How could Food Buzz not get the buzzing draw your attention.
There the plan of teasing and testing taste-buds from two is a company to a big group of foodies make way. Making the entry and wohooo…check out the crowd.
Everybody up there to get a grab while chilling out in the loving cool weather. The set-up done was pretty neat, under black tents giving a prefect look. From coffee, ice-cream, donuts, cakes, pastries, burgers, hot dog name it and you have it.
Glimpse of the stalls participating:
Alchemist is a new venture with some interesting stuff to offer of which the avocado and pomegranate topping and the shots of almond and fruits with a magical (secret) ingredient added to make it different. Tried the almond shot which was nice and rich in content.
DOH (But sadly the donuts and even the donut holes were over 🙁 duh)
And heading straight to the ultimate reason of popping up at Kipco Tower….Nomad(Food Truck). Operating out of a vintage 1973 Airstream truck, Nomad food truck have been wandering the streets of Kuwait for quiet sometime and offering customers the chance to experience gourmet street food with a twist. The silver Airstream truck inviting and grabbing all the attention at the Food Buzz.
The Menu was up with all the details you wanna know before you indulge to some awesome treat.
The crowd favorite was the Nomad Chicken Burger and so us, we added Loco Fries and The 1973 Burger just to make the most. As we wandered a distance, the tracker got buzzing and here our order was ready.
The burgers looked big and tempting to devour. While I relished The 1973 Burger till the last bite with that amazing twist of nacho’s crunchiness inside 😀 along with the Bacon jam (love that inclusion). The Loco fries was extremely filling and rich to handle anything more in our already full tummies. So very glad that the craze of Nomad, left us with a happy note.
But wait a sec, no lunch time stands complete until it ends with some dessert. And there the stall of Marble Slab Creamery was calling us, picked the smooth scoops of Strawberry & Pistachio Flavor ice-cream, thou we skipped the multiple tempting topping options available, as we called Totally Full!
Overall a worthwhile food exploration and extremely satisfying tummy.
