Rava Ladoo recipe
A quick and tasty sweet recipe for Diwali. Rava Ladoo is quick and easy to make, with less time to spend in your kitchen. Hope you will enjoy this sweet treat.
1 cup rava(semolina)
1/2 or 3/4 cup powdered sugar (depends on your sweet cravings)
5 tbsp melted ghee
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
Few Cashew nuts/Walnuts chopped
Heat a tbsp of ghee and roast the rava over low heat till it changes color to light brown and a nice aroma of roasted rava fills the room. Keeping aside, let the roasted rava cool.
Powder sugar and keep it ready.
Heat another tbsp of ghee and fry the raisins and cashew nuts/walnuts till raisins puff up and the nuts change color slightly.
Now grind the roasted cool rava to a coarse powder. Add the powdered sugar, mixing it well. Combine the raisins, nuts and cardamon powder together.
Add the melted ghee and bind the entire mixture together. Quickly with your hands form the mixture into rounds balls by pressing tight.
After it cools, store it in an air tight container.
