The Department of fisheries will impose the annual monsoon fishing ban in Goa from the June 1st to July 31st. This ban is done annually to facilitate fish breeding in the state.

Recently, there were major shuffle and agitation by traditional Ramponkars demanding that the Goa government ban the use of boats with LED lights in the state.
