Swachh Bharat Campaign gets a facelift
“Cleanliness is next to Godliness “. That’s what we were taught in school, but somehow forgot about it. But when it comes to India, the concept is delusive. Here the people’s mentality particularly is keeping their house clean & throwing the litter outside, whereby creating dirt outside. Filthy streets, peeing on the roads, tossing waste from passing cars, spitting in public or in building corners is unpleasant sight.
The ruling Government in India had started the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (English: Clean India Mission) covering 4,041 statutory cities and towns, to clean the streets, roads and infrastructure of the country. The campaign was officially launched on 2 October 2014 at Rajghat, New Delhi, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is India’s biggest ever cleanliness drive and 3 million government employees and school and college students of India participated in this event. So, to further strengthen the campaign, an attempt to create awareness and promote clean habits among us as a society, Government has launched new campaign.
Directed by veteran filmmaker Pradeep Sarkar (‘Parineeta’ fame), the ad titled ‘#DontLetHerGo features Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan ,Kangana Ranaut,Isha Koppikar & Ravi Kishan. Kangana Ranaut plays the role of Goddess Laxmi, and it revolves on the concept that Goddess Laxmi comes and resides at places where it cleanliness prevails. So if no Cleaniless no prosperity.
Interesting must say.
