Parish Fiesta 2015
It looks like yesterday, that I along with my family and friends, went on for the Parish Fiesta at the Holy Family Cathedral in Kuwait City. Still fresh happy times that make me smile and wanting to share the lovely experience 🙂 better late than never.
After the 8 am service, stepped out to the church compound and hey there you find all happy smiling faces from different cultures, states, nations coming together under one roof. And the whole purpose….to give back something of what they are, what they can and what makes ages to lighten faces with broad smiles, all in for a good cause. Be it kids, young, middle age or the elderly all were spot on to make the Parish Fiesta a memorable one.
Being a foodie, I started off with checking out the various food stall put up ranging from shakes/drinks, speciality snacks of different states/countries, sweets, yummy food stuff…you could name it all. It was like a hop in-hop off ride 😉 from one stall to the other, as everything out there looked tempting. And the inviting volunteers, would make one definitely stop by. Letting one’s taste buds goes happy and vary, just like mine 🙂
And then the little kid within me jumped out of joy, when I entered the area full on with crazy gaming ideas. With the young kids explaining the games, checking if one goes by the rules. Having a few winning streaks and picking the cute small gift items. All time ruling housie and not forgetting the auction for the hot selling stuff. The DJ’s Sunny and Swethin playing some good music, while they set the mood and playing personal dedication’s along. The delicious cup cakes and cake pops doing their rounds. Everything was so fascinating and engrossing that I couldn’t click any pictures of the games stalls 😛
A jam session too being organized which I had to call a miss. But not forgetting to treasure and capture the memory of the day, by getting our group picture clicked at the Oh so awesome photo booth designed by Mr. Donald. The HFC Parish Fiesta 2015 was filled with loads of fun and love, which had each and everyone a star in their own right.
Shine bright like a Star!!!
