New pug housebreaking stories reveal all the insider secrets you could possibly want to know about pugs as well as secrets for training your pugsOur house has been turned upside down by our bundle of fun, our new pug puppy arrival, we are crazy about her.She is called Sapphire and is 11 weeks young. The trouble we are having with her is the dreaded housebreaking. Generally a pugs temperament changes from day to day which is proving to be a constant worry all the time. She is never left alone; she has someone around her at all times Our little pug has days that she whines, goes to the door and the whole nine yards. If she wants 100% attention she sprints across to her doggy pad as fast as her little legs will carry her, it is hysterical to watch Every book and training method possible has been used to try and housetrain her but not always with the success we were expecting. Some weeks she wont go near her dog pad which is very frustrating. We can take her outside to do her duty and maybe she will then come back in the house and hide to do it again We took her to the vet for a check up thinking maybe she had worms as pug dogs do get worms --negative on that.We do give her the odd little snack or treat, call it what you will but it really lights up her face and it is so worth seeing her smile I thought I came across an article recently that claimed that puppies are notorious for forgetting everything they have learned. She gets to go outside every 2 hours or so no matter how much water she has consumed. At night we take her out just before bed time and bring her out first thing in the morning,I was leaving the door open so she could get out to use the bathroom of the night on her pug dog pad but that didn't work.Just the other day a pair of my husbands trousers were on the floor and she decided that would be a great place to go to the toilet, he wasn't impressed Our angel isn't spanked, or yelled at for her accidents just told no no and then took outside. Can you help us.Are we confusing her with outside and the pad. What have we done to make her backslide back to square one.We desperately need your help. What can we do to set her on the straight and narrow so that she is properly housetrained.
